What is the Crazy Frog meme? From the ringtone to the AI invisible moped

Crazy Frog is an animated character from the mid-2000s, famous for his "ring ding ding" engine-noise ringtone and the 2005 "Axel F" music video. In 2026 it came back as an AI video trend: people put themselves in his chase, crouching on an invisible moped while a pursuer on a hover-bike chases them. The AI videos show real people, not the frog.

The original character

Crazy Frog was created by Swedish animator Erik Wernquist, built around a recording of someone imitating a two-stroke engine. As a mobile ringtone in 2004–2005 the sound became hard to escape, and the "Axel F" single and music video followed, with the frog fleeing a robot pursuer through a futuristic city.

The 2026 AI trend

The trend recreates that chase with AI video models. Your photo becomes the rider squatting on an invisible moped, someone else (or a default character) chases on a hover-bike, and the clip ends with a backflip and getaway. Searches include "Crazy Frog AI", "invisible moped video", "invisible motorcycle meme" and "Crazy Frog race AI".

Is it affiliated with Crazy Frog?

No. Crazy Frog AI is an independent parody tool and is not affiliated with Crazy Frog or its rights holders.

Make yours in three steps

1. Upload a clear photo of your face. This person becomes the rider on the invisible moped.

2. Optional: upload a friend's photo to choose who chases you on the hover-bike. The chase takes place on the original overpass.

3. Generate and download a 16:9 MP4 with the chase soundtrack. Packs start at $9.99 for one video.
